>>57645384I think DP were easily the weakest graphical leap of the series. The GBA ones already looked underwhelming compared to GSC, but DP was really not any better than a GBA game visually. It really took up to BW to finally have a good looking Pokemon game. And yes, I am aware Platinum and HGSS aren't bad visually, but they aren't the leaps you'd expect off of a DS game.
