Mechanicore's movepool consists of many defense boosting moves such as Cosmic Power, Iron Defense, and Amnesia. It also has Recover to reliably regain HP. It isn't just about defense though, and boasts a host of strong Special attacks: Flash Cannon, Moonblast, Zap Cannon, Fire Blast, etc.
Mechanicore has a signature move called Stahlkrieg. This Steel-type move charges for one turn, then unleashes a very powerful blast. It's essentially a Steel-type Solar Beam.
That's my idea for a Tank-themed pokemon. What do you think?
