I'd hate to break it to you folks, but breeding is cheating for the same reasons you dismiss Pokegen. When you breed Pokemon, you're trying to manipulate the outcome of the Pokemon that will hatch from the eggs.
The only point breeders can even argue against is "muh feelings" and "muh sense of accomplishment". Get fucked, the future is now.
