Perhaps a bit offtopic but I've been on a thing recently where I've been putting on PrimetimePokemon videos in the background while I work and it got me nostalgic for old 'poketubers' like him, slayerofmca, etc. and just the old state of the more autistic but sincere Pokemon fandom on YouTube in those days when it was mostly shitty gameplay vid, battles, Pokemon spriting and card openings (a lot of FCBM back then too I noticed).
I looked at some of these modern tubers and man I feel bad for kids today, these guys are utterly soulless. PokeRev, CTR, etc., they're just in it for the money and are only contributing to the state of collecting being so bad across the board. These tryhards have inspired a whole army of clueless and depressed millenials to rip disgusting SwSh sets on camera en masse.
Did any anons ITT ever upload Pokemon card content on YouTube back before in the day? We really had no idea how good we had things up until XY. Gatekeeping is necessary.
