A short trip to Pastoria City, and we've now got the Fen Badge! Wake wasn't too much of a problem; after the Gyarados was dismantled by pivoting between Atlas, Luna, and Supa Soaker, the rest of Wake's team didn't stand a chance to Atlas. (Side note, I'm not sure why his Floatzel never used Ice Fang on Atlas. Maybe the internal calcs told the game Brine would do more? Baffling to me.)
Sadly, we weren't quite finished yet, and I made a big mistake. I seriously underestimated my rival's Monferno and we lost Sidd to a Flame Wheel. Stupid move on my part because I could've just used Supa Soaker against it, but I was more scared of the Fighting STAB for some reason. RIP Sidd. At the very least, this opens up some team options. Stepping in immediately will be Hippolyta the Heracross who was a lucky find on a honey tree outside of Hearthome, and once she's trained up, we'll add Do-Re-Mi the Bronzor as a replacement for Bucky. He's done well so far, but we're getting to that point where he'll be power crept out.
