>>22271670https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBMgPX1JOK0You deduce that the perfect way to keep Barbaracle in one place, long enough for Trevenant to slam a good strike in his face, is to confuse him. Confusion, on top of disorientation from an unconscious head, will be more than enough to defeat him. He'll start acting like fucking Plastic Man, each limb twisting and arching in misguided attempts to do their own thing.
"Trevenant, get up close to him and use Confuse Ray!"
"Trev!"
Siebold flicks his wrist, having already caught onto your plan, "Barbaracle, don't you dare look into that red iris!" he yells, "Use Night Slash, keep that wooden monstrosity at bay!"
"Bar!"
Barbaracle averts his gaze from the approaching phantom without a second thought. At the same time, he invokes all four of his arms with a malevolent black energy. Aware of the incoming onslaught, Trevenant keeps his cool and charges at him.
He is however, not quick enough to go first.
"BARAC! BARAC! BARAC! BAAARAAAAC!"
Barbaracle lays all his cards on the table and strikes with a lunge, dishing out four Night Slashes with his arms, one after the other. While Trevenant is able to dodge the first two, the third and fourth take him by surprise and manage to hit.
>A critical hit!
