Before Gen 5, I always went with the Fire starter first. When they first revealed the Unova starters, Tepig was my first choice, and I hated Oshawott's design. And then their final stages got leaked. Oshawott's evolutions kept getting cooler, while Tepig's evolutions kept getting uglier.
I wouldn't have even bothered with this stupid wrestler pig if I hadn't already used the other two before B2W2 came out. Ironically that team ended up being one of my favorites in spite of it.
