>>57251633It was brutal. Gyarados, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Celebi, Articuno. I got destroyed so many times the game de-ranked me and made me play against literal children. Exeggutor, Serperior, Gardevoir, Pikachu, and Starmie are just too powerful to battle against when not playing meta decks. I tried all my non-meta decks and they got destroyed. The only thing that was decent was water buffalo but even that was too slow. In the end I won with Galvantula/GA Pidgeot, it only best 1 meta deck, the rest were children and bad draws.
Unless this game gets anti-meta support the only way to win consistently will be meta v. meta. You simply can't have the most powerful cards in the game have bench immunity without the game devolving into who sets up first. If the next set doesn't have bench disruption it will be bleak.
