If I'm not drawn to the characters I couldn't give less of a shit about the gameplay.
For all of UNITE's GLARING faults, it's the only game that lets me directly control and decimate opponents with mons like Tsareena, Blastoise, or shit like fucking Cramorant.
That's why I love UNITE so much despite the absolute bullshit.
If it didn't have characters that I love then I wouldn't even put up with it for one minute.
