>>56660281I didn't outright HATE it, but I wasn't exactly wowed by it. Granted, I replayed it earlier this year after online was kill, so I think the enjoyability suffered a bit because of that. There might be kino inside if you look hard enough, but its broken up by forgettable stuff like the get-along-gang and Team Flare's lack of a hook in the plot. Stuff that XY did was achieved better by either its predecessors or the games that came after. You don't exactly linger on it for long. Picrel is what I ended the game with. My honest thoughts; XY is just white bread. Inoffensive, but not particularly special outside of lore and megas.
