>>43130014The pacing of the game genuinely falls apart sometime after you beat Kabu, and it's too bad. It's as if they had to rush the rest of the game to get it out in time. I was so disappointed in the lack of decent things in the boutiques after how plentiful the options were in XY. I was anticipating all the punk clothes being available in Spikemuth, but despite the town sign referring to there being shops in the town, there's no boutique (or Gym, or *anything*, for that matter). Wyndon has absolutely nothing about it that makes London London, it's just a husk. I do wonder what SwSh would've been like with even 6 months more development time.
The Wild Area doesn't make up for the empty routes and cities, because even that's pretty empty itself. I'll be interested to see if the DLC adds any genuine improvements, but I'm half convinced at this point that it'll just be cut content from the base game sold back to us, without them trying to disguise the fact.
