The more you talk, the less I believe that you played that format. You talk about creativity, and yet try to ignore that EVERY SING:E DECK was all about either setting up shift or shutting down shift. Sure, there were a small handful of veneration, but it mostly came down to a difference of less than 10 cards every time. You name off all these "different" decks, and yet almost every one of the play the exact same way.
Every single format has more variation in what you'll encounter and can be called usable.
