>>57790944I think it’s mostly a question of timing. I played ORAS a lot and he was involved in the story so it was easy to get attached. It’s the combination of a great character design, the fact he lives in the Pokemon world and that he is a fan of stones. Because he is very passionate about his hobby I thought that it would be easy to make a gift he’d like or to be able to talk about it for hours without being awkward. Exploring caves with him would also be a fun activity, it’s not too sunny inside and you don’t have to be among many people.
If I had been born in a different year maybe that husbando would have been N or Gladion. Taste changes when you grow older too.

Yes you should try going back to BW2! I played it very late but it’s a great experience. The environments are gorgeous, especially the camera effects that play when you get on a bridge and there’s a lot of route exploration. You just have to go through the forced Pokestar Studios visit.
