Gard still has a lot more issues lving up and because games are decided more on who score more goals overall then coin flip that drastically drops Gards playstyle since it is very hard to score. Espeon buffs basically took Gards role since it gets its moveset much faster.

>>51365951Yes they are still worth it. Especially with Espeon Stored power/future sight yes. Since Espeon got nice buffs this and the last patch.
Gard is still my favorite mon but this season I'm either instant lock Mime, Glaceon, or Espeon. Preferably, I let my teammates instant lock Mime because everyone at this point is abusing Psychic/power trick. Once Mime is instant locked, I play Glaceon and stick to them lv glue, making sure Mime gets to lv 6 quickly for power trick. From There it is instant kills with Icicle spear/Psychic/power trick.
