I had a good start that suddenly gave me a grim reminder in why nuzlockes are painful
>Got a chimchar that named Kanbaru
>bitch basically destroyed everything in her path including the first gym (she also evolved on the way to the 1st gym)
>also caught some mons on the way to floaroma town (bidoof, starly, zubat, machop)
>reached valley windworks where I caught a shellos
>train a little bit to have the team be at least close to Kanaru
>after that had to do all the team galactic ordeal
>reach mars
>thinking this was going to be a piece of cake I use my now evolved staravia to growl a couple of times at it and then start hitting it
>little did I know Purugly crit my staravia and killed it in a single hit
>Kanbaru dealt with the bastard and won
Now I'm on my way to Eternia forest and then to the city, I guess this wouldn't be a nuzlocke of mine if I didn't get a bird killed at least once in a game right? why does this always happens to me? ;_;

also I want to say this generationlocke has another rule that I couldn't make use of in the gen 2 and 3 games (due to being in CIAs), in that I can use old members of my teams (all at level 5 and unevolved but they keep the moves they used at the champion fight) but only after a certain checkpoint, in this case up until I clear all the gyms, just to not make it that easy for me, this is something I wanted to do since I wanted to do this generetionlocke I hope none of you mind.
