So a new Detective Pikachu TCG set just got announced and the card art gives us a closer and more detailed look at some of the Main Pokemon in the movie, which i'm gonna be posting ITT.
I always saw Greninja as a pokemon that somehow managed to be Cool, Gross, Awesome, Awful, Slick and Cute at the same time, but the movie iteration looks menacing as fuck. These eyes are horrifying for different reasons than those eyes in the often memed model head, because in this case, Greninja actually looks like he puts the あくタイプ in Dark type. An actual intimidating, hulking, man-sized frog assassin. I'm surprised they managed to make him look THIS evil. Didn't like what i saw in the trailer much, but having this clear image really helps me warm up to its movie representation a lot! I wish i could say the same for the next card, though...
