I have the equivalent of 204 physical defense and 121 HP (for reference, this is better than a literally perfect Steelix or Toxapex at my level) plus easy paralysis and Charm on top of high speed and special defense besides, on top of the Leftovers I got from Moscow. Except for the Starmie (dealt with by York), barely anything on the team could scratch Beirut.
Wally was much simpler. He has an actual team - Roselia, Fletchinder, Azumarill, Kirlia. Aires, Beirut, Seoul, and Moscow handled them in that order, Moscow's set thanks to Kirlia having Hypnosis.
Unfortunately through all this I suffered the first death of the run to something stupid, the Psychic on Route 110 with the Abra killing York. It has a means of dealing with dark types in the base game so I should have expected the same here.

First, second, third try blind? Highly doubt it without a lot of luck. There's a lot of new bosses added in (especially one that was literally designed to murder nuzlockes) and bosses require generally a lot of planning, plus it has incredibly strong random trainers.
