>>54148071it really is something most of these fangames should do, it adds a lot of personality to characters who get far too much dialogue that doesn't accomplish a tenth as much as the portraits do. i also find it funny clover, a game with barely 0 actual story, does portraits and something like rejuvenation which is obsessed with art and overly extravagant anime storytelling does not
i doubt it's even that much work. there's only like 3 or 4 portraits for every character in the game that has them
