I fucking hate the Vanillite line. Why? Well, let's break it down.

I really hope some future generation gives Vanillish a split evo to redeem it's appearance. The Magnemite line is a good example of how a good final evolution redeems a Pokemon in my eyes.

>Magneton-Just three magnemites put together. Plain, kinda senseless.

I really hope that the Diglett line gets a third evo that redeems them. However, I hear Dugtrio is already a good competitive Pokemon, so it might be OP.
