Mega evolutions could have been cool, but they've ruined any chance it had of being a cool feature. Giving Charizard 2 and ignoring pokemon who need it badly is fucking inexcusable. Regular evolutions as well. Unless there's a severe stat re haul it's inexcusable laziness.
The story of pokemon was always terrible. End of discussion on that. Still doesn't excuse it, but it's expected sadly.
Character customization is mind boggling. Beards for the 13 year old protagonist, but you can't remove the hat? No it's not be cause past protagonists wore hats, no it's not because pokemon trainers and hats are symbiotic. It's another classic example of GameFreak being retarded.
