Made it to Shalour City through the hell that was Reflection Cave. This stretch between Grant-Korrina was filled with extremely strong trainers. I got into a Sky Battle on Route 11 with the opponent leading with Emolga. Considering it was a fucking sky battle, this was bad news. I had Balloob, Opie, and Salt n Peps with me, but had to sacrifice Salt in order to outspeed Emolga with Opie. Inside the cave, I lost Opie to a crit from a Hawlucha Rock Tomb. Balloob evolved and became the new ace with how tough it is, and how much shit it resists in there. I also managed to break the starter curse. In every Nuzlocke that I've done, except my Platinum one, I've never gotten my starter out of the 20's. Hopefully Froge sticks around for a while. We'll be training up for Korrina, and I'll be deciding which three I'll take to face her.
I'm thinking that bringing Balloob, Babborb, and Froge will be the best choice. Whatdya think?
