Ever since I was a little kid I've always picked my favorite Pokemon based on looks instead of stats. Anything I thought looked "epic" made it into my favorites.
Gen1: Too poor to buy games but still watched the anime on Kids WB
Gen2: Favorite Generation. The Pokemon in my favorite section are probably only half of my favorite Pokemon from that generation.
Gen3: All these sucked ass... Some were acceptable.
Gen4: Second favorite generation. I was a sucker for all those new evolutions.
Gen5: Lacked creativity in my opinion. Didn't care for many of the Pokemon in this generation.
