No one implied they should have rape, that's a big jump.
The game gets kinda dark in some places and stuff like Origins get that right, even the manga too.
It has some fucked up stuff like the whole mewtwo bussiness, marowak getting beaten to death, giovanni forcing people to force contracts, etc.
It should portray those things more.
