Today we're going to be using this thread as part of your training as a /vp/ user, and as a janitor on 4chan.
Say you have a thread like this that is breaking two rules at the same time, but you aren't sure what to report it as.
In situations like this, the conservative answer is to report for the higher offense, in this case "Advertising/Begging" because this is a repeat of the "No Normalfags allowed" advertising spam, instead of the NSFW on a SFW work.
Why?
Because Advertising bans last 14 days vs the Red vs Blue board ban which is 3 days.
Now, this is the part where new janitors and moderates cover their eyes and don't read this part.
If you are not a moderator or janitor; you are not actually obligated to report posts for breaking rules; the janitor/moderator will get to it eventually when they wake up. If the rule breaker is applying themselves to board content/culture, there's less reason to report the thread.
In this particular instance, the NSFW lust provoking image has nothing to do with Pokemon, thus an excuse is not warranted in this case.
Threads like these, that advertise, spam or shitpost that have nothing to do with Pokemon or /vp/ culture in general, are to be reported for their highest offense. Which in this case, is "Advertising".
