>>54238878It's pretty out of character for her. Part of her journey through the game was rejecting her mother's sadistic and manipulate ways. She never showed those traits, but probably would have picked them up if she didn't run away from home and have her adventure with the player. Who knows, maybe in some other timeline or media, that's accurate.
