Apparently in an original timeline, we never existed and so the characters, led by fucking Fern of all people, do our quest of fucking up Team Meteor for us. Naturally, they fail. Anna, crazy vision girl as seen earlier, made a wish on her Jirachi doll and it actually works, possibly creating a new timeline with us in it to act as a force of fucking nature to butcher everything in our way, or something.
