Thats exciting actually.
Recently took interest in collecting the cards again, mostly because of 151.
Was looking about a month or two ago in stores when I learned about them, but was having difficulty finding them. Used to collect as a kid, and had multiple complete sets (Mostly original series up through the Legendary Collection series) just kind of stopped as I got older, so was hoping to get a chance on this set mostly for nostalgia, then maybe branch into some others.
Considered picking some packs up online, but most are going for double MSRP, which makes sense I suppose.
Additionally, while browsing random stores for the occasional pack while shopping for Christmas stuff, I've noticed that nearly all pokemon cards are always sold out. I knew the cards had a resurgence about 7 or so years ago, and then another bump early on in COVID, but didn't realize that it was still so popular. Makes me wonder if its adults like me or if kids are still really into them, or both.
