You know how people have opinions and bitch about certain things? Well it is a literal fact that most Japanese cards have more detail to their other-language counterparts. The highest example is the 1996 charizard. The Japanese charizard will have a more defined flame than the English one which fades. Japan also has a MUCH MORE HIGHER quality control and the employees are basically threatened their jobs if the cards aren't high quality, as to where the printers for English are lesser quality and the employees are kept to a lesser standard...this allows Japanese cards to be easier graded a higher quality, the holo is sometimes cleaner, the corners are neat and round...etc etc...
I enjoy both English and Japanese, but let not a single fucking soul tell you that Japanese isn't a higher quality. The reason why investors enjoy English (although there ARE investors in Japanese too) is because the rares are harder to find in English as in comparison to Japanese. Not only does this apply to gatcha games that Japanese give their consumers easier rares, but cards too. Interesting fun facts. Reason being? The Japanese business runners do NOT want to piss off their home country's consoooomers. God forbid they do because the backlash from Japanese whales is bad.
