Say you have 200 ft of fencing and you have a 100 ft wall on one side of the fence. Logically the parallel fencing should also be 100 ft. This leaves 100 ft for the remaining two sides, or 50 between them. So now you have a 100x50 ft^2 area. That's the maximum area you can have with a wall that long and 200 ft of fencing. The only way to get a square would be to have 300 ft of fencing.
