I'm not sure if it was exclusive to Platinum or also in D/P but I do know this is the earliest method of getting a dusk stone for this stage of the game. Then again, if you're playing Platinum you won't have a Murkrow or Misdreavous to use it on so if you're psycho enough to play D/P, now you know.
