I never understood why people would bitch and moan so much over the battle frontier not being in ORAS, it makes sense at face value but really most of the battle facilities were gimmicky clones of eachother, the only facility I actually was disappointed about being gone was the battle factory, the arena and palace were both gimmicky bullshit, the pyramid and pike were kinda interesting, and the dome had no reason to exist really
If you were in charge of creating a new battle frontier with new facilities of your own design what would you come up with, I thought up of a couple ideas myself
A facility which you could only use one type of Pokemon and you would either choose which type of opponent you face next or they're type is random and the frontier brain would have a different team for each type
A stat based facility where you can pick a stat to specialize in, once you do you must use Pokemon with at 90-100 of that stat, other trainers would specialize in other stats and the frontier brain would have a different team for each stat as well
