>>42421295>>42420164>>42419880Here's a comparison to Tikka Masala I had made earlier, it looked and tasted so much richer, thicker and spicier and it was. The chicken and veggies were all so much more tender. I think Indian curry is vastly superior.
Another issue is that Japanese curry seems to be both in Japan and abroad a quick meal thrown together with whatever is about to expire and a premade brick of seasoning, while the Tikka Masala was all fresh roux and toasted/ground spices. It feels like its not regarded as a serious meal by the Japanese which is why they settle for highly sweetened, processed and shitty tasting premade bricks.
Also yes, I used jalapenos for this one, I was out of Kashmiri peppers.
