To be real real for a bit, the problem is is that he has no "characterization". He's just...there. He's simply there, he does this, he does that, he applies his superpower, he wins, and he loses. Things happen. Nothing really comes alive with him, ya get my drift? He isn't maximum overedge, but rather the opposite problem. Even some EDGE would have been better than the blank slate we got. Even his clothes are bland, and say nothing about him. Except that scarf/hood lining, which is gayer than San Francisco. Though to be fair, it's only his first episode. But I don't see it changing too much.
