I mostly played contests and would breed my favourite pokemons. I know I would never actually win in serious competitions outside of a few double or triple battles (go suck a dick in hell, singles), and I'd never stand a chance in the VGC... but I have fun playing, even when I'm losing.
Stop being such a child. Grow up. Realise people want to have fun playing the game in their own way.
