>>48058032When looking back on the earlier episodes of the show's original Kanto arc, it's animation would at times feel like a 1960's cartoon or anime (like Spider-Man, Scooby-Doo, Astro Boy, Cyborg 009, etc.). Mainly do to certain shots having a lack of shading in them or sometimes the character animation itself would be a lot stiffer compared to other anime of it's time. This screenshot from the episode (The Flame Pokémon-athon!) is a great example of what I mean. I do like this old style of animation though, It gives off an old timey (a.k.a. retro) feeling to the animation of the show's earlier seasons. Do anyone agree with what I'm saying?
