The best cities in england are the strangely built ones that have been around for centuries, with lots of quirky nooks and crannies for shops and dives offering niche curios, and only Motostoke came the closest to that.
Hammerlocke is cool but felt tourist-y; there could've been areas in the castle parts only accessible post game or something, once you've become an "elite" (a gentlemans lounge for rare items or difficult battles)
Finally, the countryside here is so comfy to explore, lots of little paths parallel to less-travelled paths hidden within the woods, copses with fallen trees that make perfect seating, brooks and streams and stuff just out the way that make it all a joy to find. The routes in Galar where built like a quick walk to the shops, but of course the focus was really on the Wild Area.
Wyndon was crap but thats because it was a sterilised London, and London is too fucking massive and diverse to squidge into Pokemon town form
I also think London is massively overrated but that's cause I'm a country boyobviously
