Seeing this thread reminded me of my old OC from high school Roach, so here's him gathering firewood. Roach was made as part of an online RP group that fell apart extremely quickly, but was pretty fun while it lasted. The other characters were all broody edgelords, happy-go-lucky shonen protags, cutesy girls, or fapbait, so I decided to go against the grain and made a perpetually salty Bug specialist with delusions of grandeur. He's 100% convinced that he's the greatest Bug trainer to ever live and is extremely bitter that Bugsy and Aaron have League positions while he's stuck fighting randos for pocket money. Although he's not exactly poor, his clothes are shabby because he refuses to spend money on new ones as long as they're still technically wearable. The other players called him the "angry bug hobo," and apparently everyone really liked this belligerent manchild because they wouldn't stop PMing me for roleplays. Good times.
