I gave the “leak” on the Generation 8 “Reginos” region a while back. It was ridiculed on here, like any leak, but I’ve seen it circulating and picking up speed online with the poketubers recently.
There’s a lot of corrections I can now give to the original post.
Firstly, the region will be set in the UK as originally stated. The image circulating of an island is indeed the UK rotated. The regions name is not Reginos. That was a translation error. It is actually “Regina” and that’s it’s current code name for the developers. Regina meaning Queen, queen being the UK etc.
I believe this is most likely the next game for next year. But other games are in development at the same time. What they are I don’t know. I’m guessing Diamond and Pearl remakes, or a generation that will come before this - but that’s highly unlikely.
As originally stated, the region will be split into “shires” with powerful trainers called PokeLords who oversee them. There will be an tradition vs technology kind of theme, nodding to the UK’s history and it’s innovation.
The region has a postgame connection to Couriway Town in Kalos where the trainer can gets some new mega stones for new mega evolutions. There’s at least 15 I think.
The legendaries I mentioned at the time are not legendaries but actually translated to a word similar to “significant” Pokemon. This will highly likely change and some may not even make the cut.
There will be lots of mountains, woods, coast, cities, palaces, a Stonehenge... it’s like Zelda: Breathe of the Wild, minus the hot regions.
Time travel plays a part and there’s “future versions”of your favourite Pokemon with new looks and typings. There’s a Raichu with fangs and horns.
I don’t know the name of the games but seeing as it’s tradition vs innovation (past and present), I’m going to take a wild guess and say “+” and “-“.
Other rumours added onto this are not part of this information I know.
