At Pa'ia Uni right now. I tried Chromox, Knokedge, and Funnedong so far.
Chromox works as well as expected thanks to Download and Modest nature still outspeeding like 98% of +Speed natures out there, but might redo it and make a Timid to outspeed +speed base 80s after a boost. Flamethrower will be switched for Eruption in endgame, but Volt Switch is 100% staying, and I want to have fun with Drives, like Douse or Chill with Download boosts providing pseudo STAB Water or Ice. Reminder that this thing has the same typing as Heatran and it gets Recover so it can come into heal up on a lot of weird shit. Knokedge is hard to tell and am still deciding on moves other than EQ, Rapid Spin, and a hazard, leaning towards SR, but I can runaway with battles with Toxic Spikes if I catch the right target. Funnedong makes me really miss having two STABS that both hit Super Effectively, but raping Ghost types is fun. Maybe I should just slap Swords Dance on it and see how that works. I don't have any boosting mons and Scrappy prevents Intimidate. I have Scythear and Deathorus bench-warming the physical attacker slot as well, but the former has been nerfed a ton and is super prone to getting walled by Steel types and dies to any sort of Fire attack, and the latter drops dead to a single bad call and I have no game sense for damage calcs, but would probably solve my Sweeper vulnerability with Sucker Punch thanks to the buff to boosting items.
Thinking of adding on Unaware Condoom with Roar for some defensive backbone, but don't know what nature or EVs I should run. Maybe ring back in Galavire, but there's too much coverage overlap with Chromox and having half my team get its shit pushed in by fighting isn't the best idea. Give me weird but legitimate mons and move sets you think put the "fun" in "functional".
