USUM, in the age of DLC additions, is fucking unacceptable. There's nothing present that could not have been a $20 DLC pack that offered you a NG+ option. You cannot defend this.
In general, the act of enhanced "complete" versions of games being sold at full price is scummy as hell, and always has been, but the difference is now the average consumer knows their options and can tell when a company is trying to swindle them. Gamefreak may have gotten away with this in 2008, but not 2018.
Well, actually they did since USUM topped charts, but they definitely lost supporters in the long run.
