Similarly with nips. Probably a stylistic choice for lots of anime/manga/media in general to leave them out (whether it's kids anime playing it safe or just aesthetics). But you can safely assume that most Pokemon characters have nipples of various colors. Similar answers apply to lips, noses, sometimes finger-/toenails... And so on.
