The fighting was very good, especially towards the latter part of the story. For a fic about gimmickshit based on popular cheese, the author kept his cards close to his chest and even surprised me a couple times, even though there's only so many gimmicks you can pull out of your ass. The bits with Catherine were also very good, because tomboy.
The protagonist is, however, a bit of a bitch and his detractors are cartoonishly evil, holy shit (HE USED COUNTER?? AIIIEEE WHAT A BITCH LET'S KILL HIM AND SET HIS HOUSE ON FIRE.)
Overall a 6/10, thanks for the rec.
