not to mention there's not even any indication that you can actually leave shiv and nova here hanging and go out and explore the dreamscape (or that anything's changed. the only way to get this quest is to go so fucking far out of your way at this exact moment in the plot)
i guess it makes sense it's so weird and obscure given how good excadrill is...but idk
