In EP002, Ash takes his Pikachu to the nearby Viridian City Pokemon Center.
THEN, in EP063, Ash, Misty, and Brock return to Viridian City so that Ash can challenge Giovanni for his final gym badge.
At the start of this episode (EP063) Ash brings up that a FULL YEAR had passed since he'd been there in EP002.
So, at minimum, the timespan of a year is around 61 episodes worth of days, as of the first season. So as of now, that's about 6 days between each episode.
It's actually not QUITE 6, but there are about two dozen episodes in this time frame that span over multiple days in-and-of themselves, which rounds up our number here. However, there are important additions to this. You might say "61 episodes- that's not a lot of days", and I would say "shut up let me finish before you tear down my stupid argument".
Let's get the obvious out of the way. We know Pokemon: The First Movie took place between EP002 and EP063, but we also know that in order to protect his fellow clones, Mewtwo erased the memories of Ash, Misty, and Brock of any of the events: from receiving the invitation to arriving back on mainland- all gone. If we average the runtime of the movie against a normal episode, as well as assume at least a few days have passed since EP054, where they were in a significantly different ecoregion than the beginning of the movie, we get about 4 episodes worth of time. So now we have 65 episodes of time in our year.
Now comes the important bit. While time given for our first stamp is 65 episodes, the time between EP063 and EP155, which precedes Pokemon 3: Spell of the Unown, is 92 episodes. As it is significantly longer than the first movie, AND because we see a greater passage of time during the events onscreen, we'll average this to 6 episodes worth of days. We also have a TV special here, which will add 2 episodes in days.
82 eps per "year". 900+ episodes total. 11 year passage.
Ash can, as of next week, drink legally.
