It's a bit ugly, like a gargoyle or like older more primal depictions of what a dragon is, and like the more monstrous interpretations of dracula and the more ugly-looking bat species out there that actually do the job of looking repulsive and scary like they're supposed to.
Ugly is not always equal to unappealing, ugly things sometimes have their own charm purely BECAUSE they are ugly and that is rad in its own sort of way.
