>>58647121I have been dwelling on this question ever since you posted it I'll admit. Whenever I embed a song with my writing it's what I picture playing during the scene/what I listened to while drawing and writing it. In terms of character themes, it's... hard. Kartanon is the hardest one, I'd picture him as having at least 2 themes, one more for action-y stuff, one for the more slice of life stuff. For the action stuff, I'm thinking either Fake Me from Chaos;Head Noah
https://youtu.be/C29GzE_gB9I or Awakening Legend from Persona 1 (PS1)
https://youtu.be/0Q9s8kE69Fg For the more slice of life stuff though... Hm. I did have Shibuya from Chaos;Head
https://youtu.be/sO8IPLjr7NU playing while writing the latter dream sequences, so something along those lines, maybe something from Famicom Detective Club. For the swordsman, genuinely just the Ultra Forest theme from USUM, perfect as-is. Amaro's a rough one, Little Town Hero's "This is my Town" was moreso meant for the specific scene, not for him... Hm. Gut instinct says something like Temporal Temple from Madou Monogatari ARS
https://youtu.be/86d3-Ghcfrg , mainly relaxed and nice but allowing for a bit of action. As for the Adversary... Well, yeah that specific cover of Black Knife is what I heard in my mind for him, and what inspired his whole character in general, so gotta go with that.
>>58650468Thank you thank you! The sneak peaks were mainly trims of existing art that I felt could be misleading enough to allow for right or wrong guesses but still Gallade at the end (i.e. the eye close up), and for Visage, the idea was him using Double Team to disguise his presence. Seems it worked, didn't it?
>toolsFireAlpaca because I'm a massive cheapskate and too used to it by now. Been with it since around 2017, it's just ol' reliable for me at this point.
It's interesting seeing the theories as to how Amaro found out, I'll have to explain it proper next time I write...
