I was a bit worried when I missed the first Stun Spore on her Starmie and got crit tackled afterward, but she got full para'd twice which gave me time to heal and ultimately take the victory. I put SWOOPZ in the day care since he wasn't doing a whole lot on the team anyway, and I filled his spot with a newly caught Mankey. I think every Pokemon on Route 6 is one that I've already caught, so I might as well catch another Pidgey to replace my precious POPEYES.
I'll update next after going through the ass-load of trainers from here to the S.S. Anne, probably right before/after the next rival battle, sooner if a team member faints (but hopefully that doesn't happen). I really like this part of the game because I feel like things finally start to open up some exploration-wise. super comfy. Okay, will update again when the next thing of note happens.
