>>21852969I'd hope so too. It's pretty clear they can't manage a once-per-year schedule on the 3DS without the games suffering from it, so I'm personally keeping my fingers crossed for a longer wait for the next game.
I'm not sure if they CAN take that long for another game, though. From what I've seen, it looks like a lot of people actually expect yearly releases now, and that sort of demand might lead to Gamefreak getting pressured into yearly releases even when they don't want to (the comments on the timeframe for ORAS didn't sound too positive, for example).
We'll see sooner or later, I guess.
