I became way too attached to the stories, world, characters, and overall lore of a game series notorious for it's bare bones, janky plots. I keep dreaming of a day in which a Pokemon game has a long and well written main game story even though that'll never happen. I keep dreaming of all the interesting characters from previous generations coming back and being fully fleshed out, instead of just having a cameo or just being someone you battle, even though that'll never happen. I keep thinking about all the half decent story related that have already happened in Pokemon, and I think "Well, that may be good by Pokemon's abyssmal standards, but it still isn't good enough for me" I've consideres reading (or writing) fanfiction, but the reasons I haven't done that is because I'm too lazy to dig through all the shit to get the good stuff. And I know once I get to the good stuff I'm just going to be upset that the actual games aren't up to snuff.
