>>33659570Garbodor was #2 at worlds so I guess that qualifies, but Garb only really shines because of the way decks are constructed and can be paired with just about anything. The way I see the meta right now is like this: Gardevoir is queen, but loses to Metagross, who loses to Volcanion, who loses to Ninetales, who also loses to Metagross, and then below that is everything else like Turbo Koko, Vikabulu, Decidueye, Greninja, Garb shells, etc. But since everyone who isn't Metagross still loses to Garde (and often also Metagross) they're both the "best" in my opinion.
It's a shame that Kartana doesn't hit harder but it would be an auto-inclusion in every deck if it did and Garde would be ruined. Personally I'm hoping Xurkitree-GX makes Turbo Koko stand up against the other big decks a little better.
